Gasthof Zum Stern is a long-established enterprise and key part of the village landscape. The historic inn has a rustic charm all of its own, and is thus ideally suited to atmospheric celebrations. With their wood panelling and traditional furnishings, the classic interiors have a warm, cosy feel.
Those looking for an inside venue can choose between our small and large banqueting halls. In summer, our courtyard beer garden is also perfect for receptions and parties.
Restaurant

The restaurant walls are adorned with photos and memorabilia from the village’s long history. The pictures testify to the important, long-standing role played by the guesthouse in the village of Seehausen, and invite guests to reminisce. The quaintly romantic ambience is complemented by traditional furnishings.
“Stube” (rustic Alpine room)
100 m² | up to 36 people
The “Stube” is the cosy extension of the restaurant and is ideally suited to small-scale celebrations and parties. Padded benches and the tiled stove automatically create a warm atmosphere and add homely touches. This is also the perfect place for club meetings, regular drinkers and corporate celebrations.
Small hall

If you prefer to hold your celebrations in private, our hall is just what you’re looking for. With sufficient space for up to 50 guests, and the historic-rustic atmosphere our establishment is famous for, parties in the small hall are ultra-cosy and in the best of taste.
Large hall
200 m² | up to 220 people
Looking for a room for your upcoming celebration by Lake Staffelsee? Then why not check out the large hall at the Gasthof Zum Stern in Seehausen – the ideal setting for family parties, weddings and other large-scale celebrations. Depending on the table and seating arrangements, the hall offers space for up to 200 people.

Where food is concerned, we set great store by quality and diversity. The kitchen convinces with its firm commitment to regional, Bavarian cuisine. Each and every one of your guests is guaranteed to enjoy our wide selection of delicacies, which ranges from barbecued meats to light vegetarian cooking.
We procure the majority of ingredients used in our dishes from local suppliers. Fish comes from Lake Staffelsee or the nearby Kochelsee lake, game from local forests and beef from the nearby farms.
