Found this picturesque hotel just passing by. Situated near the Staffelsee which provided a pleasant walk before dinner. Had not pre booked but everyone was most helpful & friendly. Room was beautifully laid out. Church bells could be annoying but just get on and sleep!
Dinner was fantastic. Breakfast fabulous buffet to take in all preferences.

Really good hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and bright, the wi fi works and the restaurant is typical,service in the restaurant can be a little rushed but the food is good. Location was excellent, very tranquil at this time of year,April, atmosphere in Hotel was very comfortable Would certainly stay here again.

When reading the reviews in regards to this hotel and restaurant we were somewhat apprehensive. But from the moment we first walked in through the doors we knew this was the right place for our stay. The staff were very friendly and the entire atmosphere was very Bavarian in design. We had three in our group and the room we chose was perfect as it had a living area along with a separate bedroom for my wife and I.

where there with 2 families and took two rooms (one double room in the building and they a vacation apartment in the neighbor building).
Staff is very friendly and service is great.
Rooms are cozy and facilities are clean (remember, it is a guesthouse so don't expect a fancy lobby or swimming pool).
Location is ok but takes an half an hour ride to get to Garmsich-Partenkirchen (where we did skiing).
Plenty of parking available
Small village so no don't count on public transportation.
Has a authentic Bavarian kitchen

I’m glad I’ve been there for eating ! high quality, amazing foods, cozy place.
I had breakfast, lunch and dinner! Sooo good !
Breakfast ~ the fried egg was “Eggcellent”!
Lunch ~ salmon so juicy, with the sauce so tasty !
Dinner~ highly recommend to other the “Pfeffer Schweinshaxe”! Soooooo juicy !! I’m so surprised they can make it so juicy ! I’m a lady. I usually can’t finish Schweinshaxe ! But this one sooo good so delicious ! Can’t help can’t stop eating!! The best Schweinshaxe I ever had ! Highhhhhhly recommend! And definitely go back again !
